WEEK 64
What Are We Mixin’ Up This Week?
One of my favorite things is Pumpkin Spice anything! This week I wanted to make Cheesecake dip using a Mad Dash Mixes Pumpkin Spice cheesecake mix!
Let’s Start Mixin’ – The Ingredients
The cheesecake mix recipe calls for whipped topping, cream cheese and the mix.
But whoops! I did it again! I forgot to get cream cheese while I was at the grocery store! Fortunately, I had a container of Greek Yogurt!
Did you know that you can substitute Greek Yogurt for cream cheese in a recipe? Yes, yes you can!
This is the first time I have tried using Greek Yogurt in a cheesecake recipe. It worked really well!
Why Use Greek Yogurt in place of Cream Cheese
What makes Greek Yogurt a good alternative to using cream cheese in recipes? Greek yogurt and cream cheese both have a thick texture Greek yogurt has less fat, more protein and fewer calories than regular cream cheese. Both Greek yogurt and cream cheese have a tangy texture so the substitution won’t affect the taste of the cheesecake dip.
Ingredients:
2 cups Greek Yogurt
1 8 oz Cool Whip or similar whipped topping
1 Mad Dash Mix No Bake Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake Mix packet
Assorted fruit, graham crackers or cookies.
The Mixing Process
Add the Greek Yogurt and the Cheesecake Mix to your mixing bowl.
Blend until well mixed.
Fold in Whipped Topping
Blend Well and Chill for at least 2 hours. When ready to serve, add dip to a serving bowl and serve with cookies, fruit or graham crackers.
For an extra festive touch, I sprinkled sanding sugar on top of the cheesecake mix!

Cooking With Kim
My entrepreneurial journey started with my love of herbs , both growing and cooking with them. My love of herbs eventually led to owning a pizzeria.
Throughout my culinary career, I have discovered the using mixes can make a cook’s life so much easier! Using a mix to make a recipe is as simple as adding a few ingredients to the mix and then stirring, cooking or chilling and serving! Mixes are such a time saver! After meeting the ladies from Mad Dash Mixes* at a blogging conference last summer, I decided to add a weekly blog post featuring recipes using their mixes. Now I am now having a lot of fun working with the folks from Mad Dash Mixes.
They did send me some products to sample but my opinions about the products are my own. My full disclosure policy can be found on the Disclosure page.
