A little Shabby Chic nostalgia before I head back

A little Shabby Chic nostalgia before I head back to Round Top today.
This fabric sample is from the mid‑2000s — rescued from a tiny shop in Monticello, IL that carried Rachel’s line. The owner was closing, and I scooped up every sample she had. I’ve kept them all these years… soft florals, gentle colors, and that sweet Shabby Chic soul.

Carrying that same spirit with me today: Peace. Love. Joy. Hopefully there will be a few brocante treasures waiting out there with the same kind of history.

Still floating — I walked into the @officialshabbychic inside @ciscovillageroundtop and got the sweetest conversation with Rachel Ashwell. A Round Top memory forever.

Even though I don't do a lot of decorating for Halloween, I do love to display this retro looking Halloween sign. An oval dough bowl is the perfect item I can use to showcase it! #vintagehalloween #retrohalloweendecorating #halloweendecorating
