Do you ever find an old picture from one of your childhood birthday parties ? I found one from my 6th birthday party!
I wonder what I wished for that year?
The picture was taken at my 6th birthday party! My Mom is watching to make sure I don’t fall face first into the cake, I think! She was always a bit over-protective!
The party was held at my grandparents’ restaurant where my Mom worked. Later in my life, she forbade me to ever open a restaurant…. she said it was the hardest work. If you read this blog post, Sprout/ Grow/ Bloom ; My Entrepreneurial Journey you can read my response to her!
I still have the little ballerina figurine that decorated the top of the cake! If you have been following me for long, I know you aren’t surprised to read that!
I celebrated my birthday earlier this week. I didn’t have cake but I did get the little ballerina out and take some pictures!
I remember a cake with a ballerina on it for my 6th birthday, too! I don’t have mine though!!!
My Mom saved a lot of things! She kept this in her china cabinet!
