Have you ever found an old picture from one of your childhood birthday parties ? I found one from my 6th birthday party!
I wonder what I wished for that year?
The picture was taken at my 6th birthday party! My Mom is watching to make sure I don’t fall face first into the cake, I think! She was always a bit over-protective!
The party was held at my grandparents’ restaurant where my Mom worked. Later in my life, she forbade me to ever open a restaurant…. she said it was the hardest work. If you read this blog post, Sprout/ Grow/ Bloom ; My Entrepreneurial Journey you can read my response to her!
I still have the little ballerina figurine that decorated the top of the cake! If you have been following me for long, I know you aren’t surprised to read that!
I celebrated my birthday last night with a group of my blogging friends. We had some of my favorite foods!
We didn’t have this cheesecake dip but I would have , if I was home for my birthday!
