Berry cobbler ready to serve

So Berry Good Blueberry Cobbler

a fruit based baked dessert with a cake like topping.

Equipment

  • 9 x 13 baking pan
  • mixing bowls
  • measuring cups
  • spatula
  • wooden spoon
  • cooling rack
  • hot pads

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package Mad Dash Mixes Fruit Cobbler Mix contains Batter Mix and Fruit Mix packets
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen fruit of your choice I chose blueberries
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven to 350 degrees
  • melt butter in 9 x 13 pan in oven for approximately 2 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside
  • Sprinkle the contents of the Fruit Mix packet over the blueberries. Stir. Set aside

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Batter mix with 3/4 cup of milk. Stir until well blended.

  • Pour the batter into the 9 x 13 pan. Do Not Stir the batter once it is in the pan.
  • Spoon the fruit mixture evenly over the batter

  • Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees
  • After baking, set on a cooling rack and let cool for a bit.

  • to serve, cut into squares and serve in a bowl with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream or plain.

  • Store any remaining cobbler in the refrigerator.

Notes

Left over cobbler should be stored in the refrigerator.  
Cobbler can be served with ice cream, whipped cream or served plain. 
Most any type of fruit can be used.  If using frozen fruit, make sure it is complete thawed before adding it to the pan.
