Ingredients

10-oz jar
Green olives, pitted
drained
1/4
cup
olive oil
1
tbsp
fresh thyme
or 1 tsp dried thyme
2
cloves
garlic
minced
Instructions
In a medium bowl, add the drained green olives
using the garlic press, mince the two cloves of garlic
Add the minced garlic to the bowl of olives
add the thyme to the bowl of olives
pour 1/4 cup of olive oil over the olives, mix the ingredients in the bowl
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 24 hours to allow the flavors to blend
Serve at room temperature.
Notes
This recipe can be used to marinate any type of olives: black, green or Greek olives
