Looking for an easy to make, delicious chocolate sauce? This recipe is super easy and absolutely delicious!

In honor of Chocolate Day, I am sharing this Hot Chocolate Sauce recipe.  It is soooooo easy to make and absolutely delicious!  I even use it in my coffee almost every morning!

This homemade hot chocolate syrup would make a great gift for the upcoming holidays!  Just be sure to keep it in the refrigerator before you give it as a gift!  Include a copy of the recipe so that your friends and family can make it for themselves or simply include instructions on how to make frozen hot chocolate or hot cocoa!

On this blog, I may sometimes use affiliate links, which means I earn a small commission if you purchase via the link. The price will be the same whether you use the affiliate link or go directly to the vendor’s website using a non-affiliate link.  By using my affiliate links to shop, it helps me to be able to continue bringing you fresh new ideas and projects!  Thank you!

If you are concerned about the amount of sugar in the Hot Chocolate Sauce, a sugar substitute such as one made with stevia can be substituted for the sugar.  I have made it with the Aldi brand stevia sweetener, and it is just as amazing as the original recipe.  If you are using a sugar substitute, you would use the same amount of sugar substitute as you would sugar.

Another tip:  I usually make a double batch and freeze the 2nd portion until I am ready to use it.

After the Hot Chocolate Sauce has been in the refrigerator, be sure to stir it well before using.  The chocolate will settle at the bottom of the jar.
