In the Pizza Kitchen with Kim

Putting my own personal touches on the menu at Makin’ Pizza was one of my top priorities. I started with adding two new specialty pizzas!

In the Pizza Kitchen with Kim

Shortly after I bought the pizzeria, I wanted to add a few new pizzas to the menu.  The menu already had several delicious specialty pizzas.  I did some research and decided that one pizza we had to add to the menu was a pizza with an alfredo sauce and chicken.  I made several test pizzas and let the staff decide what they thought.  It was a big hit among the staff and we added it to the menu.

We also came up with a cheeseburger pizza in honor of my Dad.  His favorite food was cheeseburgers!  Our cheeseburger pizza had hamburger, cheddar cheese, onions, pizza sauce and was topped with topped with tomatoes.  We didn’t add pickles or mustard.  I have heard of cheeseburger pizzas with those ingredients but we chose to not add those.

The above pizza is one of the chicken with alfredo sauce pizzas ready to go into the oven.  I am still looking for a picture of one fresh out of the oven.  They usually got eaten faster than we could get a picture of them!
