Coastal farmhouse colors of blue, green and cream combined with rustic elements create a season spanning vignette.
A Touch of Rustic for Fall
Shades of blue , green and cream combined with a few rustic accents as well as some seasonal silks can you transition your home’s displays to the next season. Let me show you how easy it is to incorporate these coastal farmhouse colors into your decor!
Ready to Refresh
The picture above is how this display looked for Spring and Summer. I had originally made the footed tray with flower pot feet as part of a blogger challenge.
Draw Attention to Your Vignette
I brought some tin , copper strips, barn wood and this turquois piece of wood back to Florida with me on one of my trips from Illinois. I found an artist in Punta Gorda to make several wall hangings. This one with the star fish works really well as a focal point for this display.
Remove the Previous Display
Everything was removed and then I started to build the display.
Seasonal & Rustic Elements
By layering the mercury glass tray on top of the footed tray and then placing the rustic turquois wooden box on top of the two trays, I can add depth to my display. I divided the herb bouquet into two bundles and added a few pieces of these pine and tallow berry pics.
The Finished Vignette
The finished vignette reflects my love of worn wood, shells, barn tin and architectural salvage. More about my fondness of those things can be found here:
One other area of my house is decorated in these Coastal Farmhouse colors of shades of blues, greens and cream.
