Happy St Patrick’s Day!

St Patrick’s Day and the color Green!  Here are a few quick St Patrick’s Day decor ideas to help you decorate!

Today is St Patrick’s Day!  Thyme to break out the shamrocks !

St Patrick’s Day & the Color Green!

One can’t think of St Patrick’s Day without thinking about the color Green!  This year I added a touch of cream to the color scheme! Let me show you a few quick St Patrick’s Day decor ideas to help you get you on your way!

St Patrick's Day Spindles

Dough Bowls

I have loved wooden bowls (and boxes, too) for a number of years.  You can read all about my obsession here: Worn Wooden Boxes & Cool Rusty Things!

I really wish I would have kept that big wooden box/trencher!

Since moving to Florida, I have become even more in love with dough bowls!  I love to decorate them for the various seasons, celebrations and even everyday use!  The one I designed for St Patrick’s Day is one of my favorites!

A Fun St Patrick’s Day Vignette

Decorating the spindle trio for the various holidays has been a fun activity for me .  The St Patrick’s Day motif is their third “holiday”!  Details about all the holiday spindle variations  can be seen here:

The Sugar Mold

The sage green flowers and the moss spheres add a whimsical touch to the white sugar mold.  Faux berries and leaves add additional spring accents to the design.  More ways to use a sugar mold for Spring decorating can be found here: 5 Ways to Decorate your Sugar Mold For Spring!

Sweet Clover by Blue Ridge Pottery

Aren’t these dishes just perfect for a St Patrick’s Day lunch? Three of the pieces belonged to my Mom.  She started out her married life using this pattern as her everyday dishes.  More information about these dishes can be found here: Sweet Clover Dishes

My parents’ 77th wedding anniversary would have been March 21, 2025.  They did celebrate 66 years together before we lost my Mom.

and now we have another wedding anniversary to celebrate in March!

Happy 5th  Anniversary, Ryan and Misty!

My oldest bonus son and his wife were married five years ago. They got married on St Patrick’s Day in Las Vegas, just as the city was beginning to shut down due to the pandemic.  They had a very lovely ceremony.  I hope they have a very happy anniversary !

I think the photographer caught me just as I was swallowing ice tea. Not sure why Dave has such on odd look on his face! Maybe I need to crop us out of the photo!

March Is A Big Birthday Month in the Snyder Family as Well!

Dave, Ryan and Misty all have March birthdays.  We celebrated early during their visit last fall!

My youngest bonus son also has a March birthday! This photo was taken two years ago when he and his Mom stopped by for a quick visit.

and we can’t forget the youngest member of the family:
