A Quick Thank You
Before I get started with the review, I’d like to take the thyme to thank all of you for following me on my journey!
Perhaps you found my blog via a blog hop, a link party, a Google search or via Hometalk. Regardless of how you started following me, I am so glad you are here! My name is Kimberly and I have a passion for flowers (a former florist) and flour (a former pizzeria owner) and many things in between! Especially rusty and chippy items!
Instead of a traditional top ten review to end the year, I thought I would figure out which topics you found the most intriguing this past year. I didn’t really plan it this way but it worked out to reflect my tag line of “flowers to flour and many things in between”!
Earlier this week we started out by looking back at the “flour” or favorite recipes and food related blog posts for the year. If you missed it, you can find it here: Favorite Recipes
Next, I did a review of the “many things in between” related posts. The most popular posts in that area turned out to include decluttering various areas of your home, decorating dough bowls (big surprise, I know) and how to use all those mason jars! You can find out which posts made the list here:A Look Back; Your Favorite Posts!
Today, I am looking back at the popular posts that are related to the “flower” side of things! How I ended up falling in love with gardening and flower design is kind of a funny story. I really disliked being outside and getting dirty as a child. My Mom always forced me to help in the garden. Oh how I hated planting onion sets! To find out how I eventually developed a passion for flowers, please visit this post: Sprout/ Grow/ Bloom ; My Journey
Let’s grab a cup of hot herbal tea and take a stroll down the garden path!

#2 Red & White European Dish Garden for Spring
This combination of red & white flowers can be used almost year-round. Almost everyone was curious about the terra cotta pot with the wrought iron candle holder.
I purchased this container years ago at a specialty store. Since I couldn’t fit anything like it on the market today, I came up with a dupe.
I used a 10-inch terra cotta bulb pan and a gazing globe stand. The candle holders are Amish made. I included the links at the bottom of this post.
