Spread the love

Are you ready to celebrate Thanksgiving this year? Need a few decor ideas for Thanksgiving? Let me help you!

With less than four weeks to get ready for the Thanksgiving Holiday, are you still scrambling to get everything ready? I’d love to help you by sharing a few simple decor and recipe ideas for Thanksgiving!

On this blog, I may sometimes use affiliate links, which means I earn a small commission if you purchase via the link. The price will be the same whether you use the affiliate link or go directly to the vendor’s website using a non-affiliate link.  By using my affiliate links to shop, it helps me to be able to continue bringing you fresh new ideas and projects!  Thank you!

In the blogging world, this time of year we already are working on Christmas ideas as well as testing recipes for Thanksgiving and Christmas.  When I had the flower shop, I often felt like I had a split personality because one part of the shop was decorated for Christmas and the other part was decorated for Fall!

Today, I am sharing a few ideas that I hope will help you finalize your decorating & hosting plans!

Easy Decor Ideas for Thanksgiving

Ideas for Quick to Make Centerpieces

If you are looking for a quick and easy centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table or you need a hostess gift to take with you when celebrating at someone else’s home, a Fall themed European Dish Garden could be the answer!

I love the peach colors in this dish garden.  All of the details on how to put this together can be found here: European Dish Garden Featuring Fall Poinsettias

Another simple centerpiece would be to add silk flowers to a vase or pottery pitcher and then add a few pumpkins and gourds.  I used faux gourds on my dining room table one year.  They just happened to match the water pitcher my Mom used when I was a child.

An old tool box can be turned into an Autumn centerpiece by filling it with branches of faux bittersweet.  I used an old garden tool to prop the lid open!

A really simple centerpiece can be made using a dough bowl or trencher as your vessel.  I know, you are shocked that I might have a dough bowl centerpiece idea!

Table Setting Ideas

The rust color of the bittersweet helps pull out the rust tones in my china.  Even though I have had these china dishes for years, I still think they are so pretty!

Take a good look at the dishes you are planning on using.  Maybe there is a color in the dishes that could be accented by a particular flower or stem of berries.

Pumpkin Recipes!

Pumpkin Shaped Rolls

I “borrowed” this idea from my friend & mentor, KariAnne Wood of Thistlewood Farms.  They are so easy to make using frozen roll dough! Simply click on the link below the photo and you will be taken to the recipe!

This delicious Harvest Thyme Pumpkin Spice No Bake Cheesecake looks like you spent hours preparing it!  The recipe for this dessert can be found here:  Harvest Thyme Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake

The same cheesecake mix can also be served as a dip!  Use assorted cookies or fruit as dippers for a unique pumpkin flavored dessert!
