Christmas, Columbus Day and centerpiece all start with the letter “C:”! So why not share a few simple seasonal holiday centerpiece ideas today?

On this blog, I may sometimes use affiliate links, which means I earn a small commission if you purchase via the link. The price will be the same whether you use the affiliate link or go directly to the vendor’s website using a non-affiliate link.  By using my affiliate links to shop, it helps me to be able to continue bringing you fresh new ideas and projects!  Thank you!

Last year, it was 68 degrees at 9 am on Columbus Day in Southwest Florida.  This year, it is 78 degrees! And I am dreaming about Christmas!

Why am I thinking about Christmas?  Seems strange, doesn’t it!  It really isn’t as strange as it sounds though when you consider my background as a flower shop owner.  Those of us working in retail or the creative fields are always thinking in the future.  I also have a background in accounting and banking where we worked a lot in the past (think prior month) so it is amazing I have any idea what day it is!

Seasonal Holiday Centerpiece Ideas

I can always use a bit of hope that the Christmas Season brings, can’t you?  I could use a bit of whimsy too.

Has anyone starting thinking about their Holiday decorating for this year?  Dave usually thinks I am weird when I start talking about what our Christmas decorating theme is going to be.  After all this time together, I don’t know why he is shocked by anything I say, particularly if it is related to decorating!

Speaking of whimsy, I found this cute snowman while I was in Waco Tx a few years ago. I love his silver tinsel scarf!  Do you think it is too soon to display him?

I think he might look really cute paired with some of my other glittery snowmen!

While I go look for the totes with the snowmen and the spool of thin red tinsel garland, here are a few ideas to help you get a jump start on your seasonal decorating!

Simple Seasonal Holiday Centerpiece Ideas

My must have seasonal centerpiece vessels include dough bowls and sugar molds!

Having a dough bowl (or 2 or even more!) makes creating a stunning seasonal centerpiece so quick and easy!   For best results, I recommend that an oval or rectangle dough bowl be at least 17 inches in length! If you are using a round dough bowl, it should be at least 10 inches in diameter.

Sugar molds come in a variety of sizes and are one of my favorite things to use to decorate my table! They are so versatile!

Read on to see a few of my favorite ideas!
