Stir in the flour and add salt & pepper if desired. Stir the flour, onions and seasonings until the flour is slightly puffy.
Add the chicken broth and milk. Stir until thickened.
Add wild rice and the chicken
simmer until the wild rice and chicken are heated through.

Notes
Add salt & pepper to taste. I like to use White Pepper instead of Black Pepper.1/2 cup chopped celery can be added to the onions when you saute them. The wild rice should be cooked in advance following the instructions on the package . I did not include the time to cook the wild rice .
