Wondering what to do with your seashell collection?  Let’s add a bit of wire and turn them into ornaments!

All you need is a few shells

and some 20 gauge wire and some wire cutters!

The ridges around the top of the shell act as a way to secure the wire.

I had two types of wire that I wanted to use.  However, the silver wire turned out to be too thin.  The gold wire is a 20 gauge wire and was perfect for wrapping around the “lip” of the shell.

I used wire snips to cut pieces of wire about 12 inches long.  I simply wrapped the wire around the top of the shell in order to hold the shell in place.

To hang, simply wrap wire around the branch of the Christmas tree.
