Who doesn’t like pizza?
Pizza! Who doesn’t love pizza! I could eat pizza everyday! Pizza generally makes me happy! Since I am feeling a bit (ok more than a bit) anxious today, I decided to share some pizza pictures. Today’s anxiety stems from having to have a CT scan of my lungs this morning. My chest and lungs have been feeling a little wonky the past few weeks. Ever since I had pneumonia last winter and then was diagnosed with colon cancer, I get a bit worried when anything feels off. Hopefully, this will turn out to be nothing major. But in the meantime, let’s talk about my favorite food:
Valentine’s Day at Makin’ Pizza called for making heart shaped pizzas! More about my thyme as a pizzeria owner can be found in the post highlighted underneath this next photo.
Not only does pizza make me happy, travel makes me happy, too! A few years ago, Dave and I were fortunate enough to take a trip to Europe and the Middle East. Along the way, I had to have my picture taken with pizza signs whenever possible!
Dave and I had lobster pizza during one trip to the Caribbean. It was delicious!
What Does a Former Pizzeria Owner Eat On Vacation?
I also liked to have my picture taken with rustic wooden doors! I have a “thing” about old doors & rusty things!
Another Makin’ Pizza pizza! Makes me hungry just to look at it.
One of the customers brought me this pizza phone when I owned Makin’ Pizza. It was still in its’ original box. We even had to plug it in one time and use it to take orders when our phone wasn’t working.
My youngest bonus son came to visit shortly after the new sign for Makin’ Pizza was hung during the summer of 2015. Doesn’t seem like it has been 9 years!
Now that sign hangs in our lanai.
and who can resist these two ladies and their smiling faces? Doesn’t it make you happy to see them? Tara was my manager at Makin’ Pizza and now she is the proud owner of Mama T’s! Read all about Tara here:
I don’t know about you but I feel a lot less anxious now. I think I will go make sure I have the things I need to make pizza for lunch.
Or I could just make a brownie pizza:
Yes, I love pizza too! The only problem is that running that business was Very Hard Work! I totally respect any person who works in a resturant!
