Coastal Farmhouse Holiday Vignette

November 30, 2025 by Kimberly Snyder 11 Comments

Spread the love

Coastal colors of blue, green and cream combined with snowflakes & snowmen help create a coastal farmhouse Holiday vignette!

Snowmen are one of my favorite Holiday decorations!  Now that I live in Florida full time, it does seem a bit strange to decorate with a snowman theme.   By combining the calming colors of blue, green and cream along with a few rustic elements, I created a beautiful coastal farmhouse Holiday vignette!  The snowmen are the perfect touch!

To get the area ready to refresh for the Holiday season, I removed everything from the sideboard, dusted the table and began to build the vignette.

Draw Attention to the Vignette with a Focal Point

Barn wood & barn tin star fish wall hanging

I brought some tin, copper strips, barn wood and this turquoise piece of wood back to Florida with me on one of my trips from Illinois.  I found an artist in Punta Gorda to make several wall hangings.  This one with the star fish works really well as a focal point for this display.

Seasonal & Rustic Elements

I first placed the little snowman in the dough bowl by himself.  By adding the mesh ribbon, it looks like he is riding a toboggan, doesn’t it?

Love never melts snowman

The snowman’s little banner says, “Love Never Melts Away”!  I just love that saying!  It fits in with my Peace, Love, Joy theme that I started a few years ago and plan to continue into this year as well.  More about that can be found here: Peace, Love, Joy throughout the Year

The finished vignette reflects my love of worn wood, shells, barn tin and architectural salvage, in addition to my fondness for snowmen.  More about my fondness of those things can be found here:

I love how the blue makes your vignette look wintry and coastal at the same time.
